What is the study about?

Researchers from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and Ibis Reproductive Health are conducting a study to better understand the experiences of people who received abortion pills by telemedicine, without traveling to a clinic. Usually, a telemedicine medication abortion service involves speaking to a provider at home or in some other location by video or phone call, or texting through secure messaging.

Eligible participants will take an online survey that takes about 25 minute to complete. The survey is anonymous, so all the information that is provided will be completely confidential. The survey will include questions on background, reproductive history, and the experience of using the telemedicine service. Participants do not have to answer any question they do not want to, and may stop the survey at any time. If you complete the survey, you will receive a $40 gift card.
